- The ‘Right to Buy Scheme’ facilitates a tenant subject to qualifying rules to buy their home at a discounted price from a local authority, non-charitable housing association or a housing action trust.
- You can use ‘Rent to Mortgage Scheme’ if you want to buy your home, but cannot afford to buy it out right.
- Right to Buy Scheme can give individuals an opportunity to get on the housing ladder, and become a house owner. Often mortgage payments can be less then rent paid to the local council !
